We want to make sure you get every tax credit and deduction you're entitled to.
So, before you get started on your taxes, make sure you haveall the receipts and income records you need.
Here's a handy checklist:
Personal Information
- Social Irenice Number (SIN)
- Date of Birth
- Information about spouse/common-law partner
- Information about dependents
- Spouse and/or child net income amounts
- Tuition transfer amount from spouse or child
- Last yearâs tax return
- Notice of Assessment from last yearâs return
- Total amount of instalment payments made to the CRA
- Other CRA correspondence

- Employment income (T4)

- Interest, dividends, mutual funds (T3, T5, T5008)
- Rental income and expenses (T776)
